Welcome to the Maintenance Log for the KRGN1 CREWS station!

(Update by Jim Hendee)

The station is in the process of being installed June 11th - 22nd. It will be an anchored buoy located near the southwest coast of Genada, and is owned and operated the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC or 5Cs) in collaboration with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA's) Coral Reef Early Warning System (CREWS).  CREWS handles the data stream and ecoforecasting for this station, and operates out of the Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML).

We are informally referring to the buoy as KRGN1 (Kahonae Reef, Grenada the 1st).

The new buoy will be located at or near these coordinates:
N 12° 01.3650'
W 61° 47.4590'
